Old St. Paul's Cathedral
More Info
|
+ My Favorites
Built in the 1860s, St. Paul's is a grand cathedral built in the classic Gothic style. Made from native New Zealand timber, the interior—with a high arched vaulted ceiling—is more striking than its exterior. It is fine example of early colonial church architecture. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Once a family home built in 1858, the Colonial Cottage is now a museum that documents the family life in Wellington during that time. The home originally belonged to the Wallis family of twelve.
