Revered by many, feared by all, the infamous All Blacks is New Zealand's official rugby team. In existence since at least 1905, the All Blacks represent their country in major international rugby competitions, such as Sevens and the Rugby World Cup. When the All Blacks perform their famous pre-game Huka, it is evident that rugby in this country is more than just a sport.

As New Zealand's windy city, Wellington is home to the Hurricanes—the city's Super-12 representative. The Super-12 includes other teams from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The season runs from February until May. The Hurricanes rugby team makes its home at Westpac Trust Stadium.
