It is the story of a new beginning of an old tradition in New Zealand: the NBR New Zealand Opera. A fairly new company, they endeavour to perform popular classic operas with contemporary and dynamic interpretations that will appeal to today's audiences. Past productions have included The Marriage of Figaro and The Pearl Fishers. Performances in Wellington and Auckland.
