For visitors interested in the natural flora and fauna of New Zealand, the Mt Bruce National Wildlife Centre offers an in-depth look. Committed to preserving New Zealand's natural heritage, visitors will learn about their efforts as well as about the unique animals found in this country such as Kiwi birds, who's population decreases each year, and the Tuatara lizard, which can live for 300 years.
